Having more than 15 years of work experience in 75+ healthcare organizations across the globe, the medical device industry, health insurance and a PhD degree in Operations Research & Statistics, I am an expert in the optimization of healthcare processes using quantitative modeling and data science techniques. My personal aim is to impact patient's lives by improving outcomes, accessibility to care, eliminating wait times and optimizing the use of scarce healthcare resources. By doing so, I also enable healthcare providers to focus on patient care again.
Since 2021, I also started working in veterinary medicine. My focus here is enabling veterinarians to do more work with less people: veterinary capacity management and planning & scheduling of staff and appointments.
Candide van Zeijl

From a background in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management Logistics (Materials and Supply Chain Management) as well as the accumulated expertise in this area in the medical device industry, I made the transition to healthcare in 2013. I am a certified Lean (Six) Sigma Black Belt specialized in healthcare logistics process improvement and innovation. My passion is bringing people together and guiding teams to collectively bring about large-scale changes that have a meaningful impact on patient care.
Femke van den Wall Bake

Over the past 7 years I have enjoyed building up experience and expertise around all kinds of strategic issues in the healthcare and veterinary sector. Most of the assignments were about how we deploy our people and resources in the best possible way so that they are of full value. In my role as a consultant, I have done assignments for various healthcare organizations in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd line. I am trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and use this expertise during the assignments. For me it is an important goal to make care processes noticeably simpler for the patient and the healthcare professional.

Rosa Tempelman

As a recently graduated business economist with a passion for data, I am delighted to be part of the team of Zonderland & van Zeijl since September 2022. During my studies I have already gained considerable experience in collecting data and visualizing it. To further expand my knowledge, I intend to follow the master 'Data Driven Business'.
For me, the goal is to present information in the most accessible way possible, so that it is understandable to everyone and thus make an impactful contribution to improving human and veterinary care.
Wendy van der Velden

Coming from a background as an office manager, I have been working as a project manager for almost 20 years on very diverse assignments such as setting up and implementing or improving work processes and new initiatives and marketing and communication projects. I make sure that a project is actually realized. I am flexible and stress resistant, have a quick insight and overview, am by nature the pivot and the point of contact, can switch well with internal and external stakeholders, am very proactive and efficient, but above all enthusiastic and I get energy from new challenges. This allows me to quickly make myself productive in all industries.
Although every assignment, large or small, is interesting and challenging, I get the most energy from complex assignments, where a lot is asked of me in terms of content, organizational skills, empathy, deadlines and political games. This is where my core qualities come into their own. Since I started working for Zonderland & Van Zeijl, I have become acquainted with human and veterinary care, where there is still a lot of challenge and therefore beautiful projects to realize.
Jasper Buil

After gaining some seven years of experience as a healthcare capacity management consultant, I made the transition to self-employment in 2022, and have been active in the Z&VZ network since 2023. My goal is to help healthcare organizations plan smarter to help keep healthcare accessible. I love understanding complex processes and systems and helping to optimize them. To do so, I apply my knowledge and experience in capacity management, data analysis, operations research, project management and tool development. Conceiving, developing and implementing hands-on tools that help plan smarter has my special interest.
